Reynaldo Silverio, Carpenter

My name is Reynaldo Silverio and I work as a carpenter on board Sapphire Princess. I have been working for Princess for 14 years and this is my 14th contract. I am from a small town called Baliuag, Bulacan, in the Philippines.

I am very happy and proud to have been chosen as Employee of the Month. I was surprised and pleased when I found out. I always treat the guests like my own. It's a great sensation to have won, because I never thought someone would notice what I've been doing during all these past contracts on board.

Every morning I thank God for a new day of life and go to work. My everyday routine is to maintain the passenger, crew, and public area facilities. Last month, my team started a big job in the photo gallery, decrementing 200 square meters of deck floor. We also handled requests for every department.

This month I will continue what I've been doing, but will do much better because now I know that someone is always watching you--not only supervisors but also other crewmembers.

My motto is to work together as a team to provide the finest possible experience for our passengers, in every area of their ship, so they'll enjoy every moment of their journey.
