Make a splash on a scenic Mulgrave River wild river tube ride. Your half-day tour begins with a 30-minute motorcoach ride to the river. Upon arrival you'll meet your fully certified river guide who will offer safety instructions. Next, grab your professional, high quality tube and follow along a nature trail to the river's edge. The beginning stretch of water is relatively tame, giving you a feel for the tube. Then lay back and hold on as the gentle rapids carry you downstream. The Mulgrave River flows year-round and is bordered by rainforest and tropical vegetation, creating a lovely natural backdrop for your river tubing experience. Please wear your swimsuit and bring a towel, sunscreen, water shoes and local currency for snacks and souvenirs. Great for families and perfectly suited to first time tubers who know how to swim. Return to port after this refreshing day.
Special Notes:
Minimum age of 5 years applies to this tour. *All guests are required to sign a waiver. Accompanying parent or guardian must sign on behalf of under 18 guests. To make sure your adventure is as enjoyable as possible please wear your swimsuit under your clothes, wear comfortable, flat-soled shoes, clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, bring a towel, a hat, plenty of sunscreen and bottled water. A light, casual refreshment (depending up on tour departure time) is provided upon completion of the tube ride. Participants must be able to swim. Bring local currency for snacks and souvenirs. Leave all jewellery and valuables in a safe place on the ship. Bring a change of clothes and wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet or you can rent shoes for $5. Pregnant women or those with serious medical concerns are not allowed to participate. Some slippery or uneven ground may be encountered.
