So many ways to explore the waters of Bora Bora
Australia/New Zealand Cruise Destinations
Some ports of call on your Australian/New Zealand cruise will lend themselves well to exploring the history and culture of a particular area. Others are all about having some fun in the sun and taking part in fantastic adventures.
The island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia is firmly in the latter category. There are a small amount of historic and cultural sights to see, and those interested can book an island-spanning drive that will point out all of the highlights. However, the majority of shore excursions will deal less with these sights and more with the wealth of opportunities for adventure on the island.
The waters of Bora Bora are teeming with all sorts of marine life, and you'll have a variety of ways to view these spectacular creatures. If you'd like to stay relatively dry, consider a trip around the lagoon on a glass-bottom boat, which will allow you to see everything in the crystal clear water. Those who want to get closer may want to book an underwater submarine excursion. There's even an option for helmet diving, where you'll don a bubble-like helmet that will allow you to breath underwater.
