Golden Princess Features Ultimate In Personal Choice Cruising.

When Princess launched Grand Princess in 1998, the innovative ship made headlines wherever she sailed. Now her sister ships, Golden Princess and Star Princess are following in her wake, setting new standards for passengers who want to enjoy "their cruise, their way."

Golden Princess was built to epitomize Personal Choice Cruising ., Princess' innovative, unstructured approach to the cruising experience. Designed to provide passengers with a wide range of entertainment, dining and activity options, the 109,000-ton vessel enables guests to do "what they want, when they want." Choices abound, as passengers can decide when and where to eat, when to see a show or in which of the numerous shipboard activities to participate.

Golden Princess passengers have plenty of culinary options with the line's exclusive Personal Choice Dining program. Only Princess provides passengers with this innovative approach to dining incorporating "what you want, when you want" flexibility in choosing their own main dining room experience -- either the restaurant-style Anytime Dining, which allows them to dine when and with whom they want, just like a shoreside establishment, or the traditional experience with an assigned dining time, tablemates and wait staff. Among the ship's many other options are a 24-hour restaurant and two acclaimed alternative eateries -- Sabatini's for an authentic trattoria experience featuring favorite Italian fare and high-quality seafood, and Sterling Steakhouse for special cuts of beef, cooked to order, and other steakhouse favorites.

As does her sister ships, Golden Princess offers numerous venues to keep passengers entertained. The vessel's three main show lounges present an ever-changing array of Broadway- and Las Vegas-style productions. In addition, a virtual reality center enables all high-tech game fans to continue honing their skills. Passengers can pamper themselves at the state-of-the-art spa, complete with a swim-against-the-current lap pool. Golfers who enjoyed Grand Princess' nine-hole putting green will find even longer "links" aboard Golden Princess. Junior passengers will enjoy their own two-level children's and teen's centers. And night owls can dance the night away at the ship's trademark "Skywalker's Nightclub," a lounge set dramatically atop the rear of the vessel and accessible only by a glass-enclosed, moving "skywalk."

Golden Princess also offers Princess' exclusive wedding-at-sea program in the onboard wedding chapel. Only Princess offers couples the opportunity to get married at sea by the ship's captain. In addition, the program offers a high-tech way to share the excitement with the live Wedding Cam in the wedding chapel. As a result, "virtual" wedding guests can join the happy couple as the ship's captain conducts the ceremony, by watching the proceedings on their computer at home. The live image updates every 60 seconds on Princess' website, www.princess.com.

The ship introduced Princess' largest Internet Cafi -- one of the largest at sea -- featuring 25 state-of-the-art computer stations which enable passengers to surf the web, send and receive email, and even share their vacation experience with friends and family. Passengers also have many more ways to capture their cruise memories with Golden Princess' unique F/X Digital Photo Center. This full-service facility offers a wide range of photo products, as well as the first complete professional digital photography studio at sea. Here, passengers can choose to have portraits taken at their convenience, by appointment, at any time during the cruise. The center also offers one-hour film processing, digital photo finishing, as well as the ability to create virtually any requested photo product, including CDs, calendars, postcards, multiple image prints and other unique keepsakes.
