Beagle Channel (Scenic Cruising)
The Beagle Channel is named after the ship, Beagle, which carried a young English naturalist Charles Darwin to scientific prominence. Located at what was once described as the "end of the world," the channel traverses the remote and mysterious landscape of Tierra del Fuego or Land of Fire. Teeming with wildlife, this strange world provided Darwin an unprecedented abundance of research material. Today, sailing between Ushuaia in Argentina and Puerto Williams in Tierra del Fuego brings Darwin's adventures to life.
