Island of Roatan, Honduras

Mahogany Beach
The moment you step ashore in the new cruise port of Mahogany Bay, you'll find shops, restaurants and bars. There's also a ski-style chair-lift that will transport you over tree tops to pristine Mahogany Beach, where you'll find a resort setting with a children's play area, beach cabanas and crystal clear waters.
Gumbalimba Preservation Park
At Gumbalimba Preservation Park, delight in watching the free-flying scarlet macaws, hold a juvenile monkey, explore a re-creation of a pirate cave, and roam through the Botanical Garden and learn about many of the indigenous plants of this region.
Sandy Bay
Sandy Bay is the cultural center of Roatan. Among the places to visit are the Roatan Museum, Institute of Marine Sciences, the Carambola Gardens and Marine Reserve.
