How to Play Caribbean Stud
Table Limits
$5 Minimum, $50 Maximum.
The $10,000 game! Caribbean Stud is a 5 card progressive poker game which is easy to learn and quite fast-paced. In Caribbean Stud, you play against the dealer on a table similar to that used in Blackjack.
How to Play
Place your ante (initial bet) in the ante box to become a player. A Caribbean Stud ante must be from the posted table minimum up to a maximum of $50.
You will receive 5 cards face-down while the dealer receives 4 cards face-down and 1 card face up. You will then look at your cards and decide whether to play or fold. Like true Stud Poker, you don't have the opportunity to draw more cards. If you decide to fold, you forfeit your ante. If you choose to play, you must make a bet in the bet box exactly twice the amount of your ante.
After all players have made their decisions, the dealer's four face-down cards will be turned over. If the dealer does not have at least an Ace and King, you receive even money on the ante but no "action" (payoff) on the bet.
If the dealer has an Ace and King or higher, the dealer's cards are compared with each player's cards and in each case, the best poker hand wins. If the dealer's cards beat your cards, the dealer collects both your ante and the bet. If your cards beat the dealer's cards, you will receive even money on your ante and a bonus amount on your bet, according to the following schedule:
| Hand: | Bonus: |
|---|---|
| Royal Flush | 100 to 1 |
| Straight Flush | 50 to 1 |
| 4-of-a-Kind | 20 to 1 |
| Full House | 7 to 1 |
| Flush | 5 to 1 |
| Straight | 4 to 1 |
| 3-of-a-Kind | 3 to 1 |
| 2 Pairs | 2 to 1 |
| 1 Pair | Even Money |
