Answer: Anyone on the cruise who are over 21 may join the tournaments.
Onboard Credit
Question: How do I know how much casino credit I will get?
Answer: The amount of credit given to each player depends on the history of play. The amount is specified in the email or mailing.
Question: How do I redeem my casino credit?
Answer: Players simply need to visit the casino manager and show their cruisecard and photo ID.
Question: Can I apply my casino credit toward my cruise payment?
Answer: No, Casino credits will be distributed after the player is onboard and has visited the casino manager.
Question: What can I use my casino credit toward?
Answer: The credit will be distributed in cash. Thus, the player can use their cruise card for services or purchases and will have been rewarded in cash.
Question: When do I receive my casino credit?
Answer: Casino credits will be given to players once onboard and after identifying themselves to the casino manager.
Question: Another family member received the email/mailing with their credit specified but they are not coming on the cruise. Can I have their casino credit?
Answer: Casino credits are not transferable.
Question: Why isn't my casino credit amount more?
Answer: Casino credits amounts are based on history of play.
Question: How can I get more casino credit for the next tournament?
Answer: Casino credits amounts are based on history of play. The more a player wagers, the higher the credit awarded.
Question: If I don't come on the voyages with the Princess Players Championship tournaments, can I redeem my credit on my next cruise?
Answer: No, the credits are specifically for these voyages only.
Tournaments
Question: What is the structure of the Slots tournament?
Answer: The slot tournaments are similar to the regular onboard tournaments where guests play a round and their 'score' from that round, if high enough, is placed upon a leader board. If a player is knocked off the leader board due to other entrants higher scores they may re-enter. At the end of the qualifying rounds a final is held between those players remaining on the leader board.
Question: What is the structure of the Blackjack tournament?
Answer: The blackjack tournaments are similar to the regular onboard tournaments where guests play a round and their 'score' from that round, if high enough, is placed upon a leader board. If a player is knocked off the leader board due to other entrants higher scores they may re-enter. At the end of the qualifying rounds a final is held between those players remaining on the leader board. Top 7 scores return for the finals. All entrants will be dealt 10 hands of Blackjack and issued $1500 in tournaments chips. The dealing order will be rotated.
Question: What is the structure of the Texas Hold'em Poker tournament?
Answer: Each contestant can buy in for $200. All contestants will play in the Texas Hold'em no limit game on our Poker Pro tables. A maximum of 3 rounds will be played during the cruise. Top 3 players from every round will proceed to the final table. Every entry will receive a raffle ticket for the wild card draw. All entrants, except for the already qualified finalists, will stand a chance to be drawn as the wild card.
