McKinley Discovery Tour – Explore the southern face of Mt. McKinley with a magnificent flightseeing tour. After your flight departs Talkeetna, it's off to soaring over Denali National Park, glaciers, and the Great Gorge as your pilot describes the natural wonders of Alaska.
Glacier Landing Explorer –Experience Alaska's wilderness with a narrated flightseeing tour of the Alaska Range and the magnificent Mt. McKinley. After flying across the granite cliffs of North America's highest mountain, land on the gentle slopes of Ruth Glacier and leave your footprints in the snow before heading back to Talkeetna.
Summit Flight– Feel the excitement only a few mountaineers have experienced. Explore the granite walls and winding glaciers in Denali National Park, and climb 20,000 feet aboard a multi-engine aircraft to witness the highest peak in North America.
Chulitna River Rafting – Your rafting adventure begins on the Chulitna River and takes you through 19 miles of untouched wilderness and ends in Talkeetna. As you journey down the river, be sure to have your camera ready for stunning views of Mt. McKinley, eagles, bears, and moose.
Wilderness Jetboat Adventure – This scenic tour aboard the Talkeetna Queen gives you the opportunity to experience wildlife, folklore, and historical artifacts with panoramic views of Mt. McKinley. Stop at a wilderness site and visit an authentic trapper's cabin with original furnishings and view how trappers lived in Alaska at the turn of the century.
Three Rivers Tour – Enjoy a three-hour tour aboard the fully-enclosed McKinley Queen jet boat and cruise along three rivers that offer panoramic views of Mt. McKinley and breathtaking flora and fauna. Stop for a leisurely stroll through history with a visit to a frontier cabin and Native Alaskan encampment.
Devil's Canyon Adventure – Embark on an incredible 130-mile roundtrip tour down the Susitna River through Denali State Park and into the National Wild River Park of Devil's Gorge. View nesting eagles, beaver activity, moose and salmon and visit an historic cabin and recreated Native Indian village. Lunch is provided.
Talkeetna River Float – Enjoy a two-hour, six to eight mile float trip down the Talkeetna River through bear, moose and beaver territories, near salmon streams, active eagle nests and an old miner's cabin. Your expert guide will take care of the rowing, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the ride.
Horse Drawn Wagon Ride – Discover Alaska by horse-drawn covered wagon. The two-hour tour offers exceptional views of Mt. McKinley, the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Later, stop for a campfire, roast some S'more and learn about the area's geology, history, and pan for gold.
McKinley Wilderness Trail Ride – Saddle up for a guided horseback tour through the Alaskan Wilderness. Our experienced horse wranglers will guide you through mountain trails, in the Denali State Park while taking in a panoramic view of Mt. McKinley.

Byers Lake Paddle Trip – Come see the beauty of Byers Lake as you glide through tranquil waters on single or tandem Sit-On-Top kayaks. Start your tour with brief and easy paddle instruction then embark on one of the most beautiful experiences in Alaska. Take pictures of the breath-taking views of Denali and the Alaska Mountain Range. Watch for resident trumpeter swans, loons and beavers. Paddle over pools of spawning salmon and look for the bears and eagles that come to feed on them.

McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge, this popular trail offers some of the most majestic views of Mt. McKinley. Keep a lookout for swans, beavers, bears and a variety of native plants.
Denali Wilderness Hike – Explore Alaska's spectacular wilderness on an exhilarating trek with an experienced naturalist guide. Hike through lush vegetation along forested trails while your guide tells you about the local history and wildlife of the area. Denali State Park is famous for its trails, wildlife, and stunning views of nearby Mt. McKinley. Weather permitting, climb 1200 feet from lush forest to tree line for panoramic views of Alaska Range peaks and glaciers.

How to Book Alaska Land Excursions in Alaska
Pre-reserving a Princess Cruises optional land excursion is simple and by doing so, you’ll ensure your spot on the tours that interest you most. Plus we take care of all the details so you get the most out of your Alaska cruisetour.
Pre-Reserving an Alaska land excursion
- Review your Alaska cruisetour itinerary in the Cruise Personalizer®. Included is a list of land excursion options that are customized to best fit your itinerary with detailed information about each excursion. You may browse through these options or create a personalized brochure of your excursion options to save, print and/or review at your leisure.
- When you are ready to pre-reserve your land excursions, have your booking number and credit card information ready to enter. A credit card must be registered for each passenger that wishes to participate on a land excursion. Although a credit card is required to reserve your excursion(s), you may pre-reserve all of your land excursions with no deposit required. An auto-charge of all pre-reserved excursions will take place two days prior to your first land excursion booking. Confirmed pre-reserved excursions can be viewed at any time in your detailed itinerary in the Cruise Personalizer.
- The Cruise Personalizer will remain open until your cruisetour departure date so you may add or cancel tours prior to the cancellation deadline without penalty. Excursions cancelled once the auto-charge has been processed are subject to a 100% penalty. Note that excursion availability is based on cruisetour date, capacity limitations, and suitable weather conditions. Excursions are subject to change at any time and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests are encouraged to book early as space is limited and flightseeing tours in particular may not be available for pre-reserving right up to tour departure date. Prior to travel, print your Travel Summary which will have a listing of all of your pre-reserved land excursions. You will also receive information on confirmed excursions in your Welcome Envelope upon arrival at each location.
