Your journey begins at the pier where you'll board your motorcoach and drive into Mumbai where you'll go sightseeing and enjoy an orientation of the city's major landmarks. The first stop is a visit the courtyard of the strikingly white Jain Temple. This temple is dedicated to Adinath, the first of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras or Apostles. Built in 1904 on Malabar Hill, the Temple has a beautifully decorated and adorned entrance flanked by two stone elephants, inviting guests to view its beautifully ornate sculptures and paintings. View the dome ceiling which is painted with the signs of the zodiac.

Continue on to the Kamala Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens. Stroll through a terraced landscape of reservoirs and graceful gardens built in 1881. The adjacent park is named after the wife of India's first prime minister and offers panoramic views of the city and the bay.

From there, you'll drive to Dhobi Ghat for a photo stop. From the Mahalaxmi Bridge, gaze upon an incredible sight, Mumbai's vast open-air laundry, where, from sunrise to just before sunset, thousands of men labor over the dirty linens of the city's businesses in a vast landscape of wash bins.

You'll also visit "Mani Bhavan" otherwise known as the Ghandi Museum, formerly the Bombay residence of Mahatma Gandhi, the influential politician and ideological leader of India during their independence movement. Today, it is a museum dedicated to the spiritual leader's life and teachings. Explore the exhibits, including a gallery depicting major events in his life.

En route to the Prince of Wales Museum, you'll pass the Mumbai High Court, Rajabiai Clock Tower, Flora Fountain and Crawford Market. Upon arrival, tour the grand structure where, then Prince of Wales, George V, laid the cornerstone of this imposing four-tiered building that incorporates a number of traditional Indian architectural styles. Enjoy a superb collection of art and artifacts from Indus Valley civilizations, as well as some 50,000 exhibits on ancient Indian history.

Finally, stop briefly for a photo opportunity at the Gateway of India. The iconic yellow basalt triumphal arch was built to celebrate the visit of King George V for the 1911 Delhi Durbar, marking the coronation of the King and Queen of the United Kingdom. Afterwards, depart for the pier where your ship awaits to take you on your next adventure.
