Your excursion begins at the pier where you'll board a shuttle that will transfer you to your minibus in Sorrento. Travel along the stunning Amalfi coast. Your drive passes through the gorges of the Furore Valley and across the rocky slopes of the Lateran Mountain to the charming hillside town of Positano. The whitewashed pastel-colored houses that dot the hillside are the subject of many postcards and photo albums. Positano boasts elegant designer boutiques, luxury shops and seaside cafes. You'll have free time to explore the main square and shop.

Afterwards it's on to the ruins of Pompeii. The route to Pompeii affords even more dramatic views as it winds through the coastal mountains via the Agerola road. Your return route follows the coast to Sorrento for the shuttle transfer back to the pier where your cruise ship awaits.
