    Tour Overview

    Your tour begins as you board your van for a 20-minute drive to the Mangrove reserve located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. After receiving instruction, a safety briefing and a safety vest, you'll follow your guide through the mangrove forest on your sit-on-top ocean kayak, complete with a paddle and adjustable backrest. The kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels. Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. Prior to returning to the ship, you'll enjoy a complimentary beverage.

    This active excursion is suitable only for passengers in good physical condition. Minimum age to participate is 10 years old. Maximum weight limit is 225 pounds. Wear a swimsuit and bring adequate sun protection. Supplied safety vest must be worn while kayaking. Certain medical conditions may prevent your participation. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women or those with heart conditions, asthma, walking difficulties, leg injuries and/or those recovering from surgery.
