What are my group perks?

If your group will have at least 5 double occupancy cabins traveling, you will be eligible for the group discount. If your group will have 8 double occupancy cabins traveling, in addition to the group discount, your group will also be eligible for a Group Leader berth. This is a discount applied to your booking within 14 days of sailing. The discount for the Group Leader berth is an amount calculated by taking the average of the rates paid by the number of qualifying lower berth passengers (passengers booked at double occupancy rates), and would be processed as a refund through the method used to pay for your booking within 14 days of sailing.

What is considered a group?

Groups come in all shapes and sizes, from a few couples traveling together to a hundred plus family reunion. Princess groups are eligible for discounted rates when 10 passengers are booked at double occupancy rates, and an additional Group Leader credit when 16 passengers are booked at double occupancy rates.

Will I be able to hold cabins for everyone in my group if I’m not completely sure who will be traveling?

To reserve a specific cabin we will need the name of at least one passenger who will be traveling in that stateroom, and an applicable deposit. The deposit requirement is 20% of the cruise fare for all voyages, except the World Cruise and World Cruise segments longer than 44 days (which require a 30% total deposit).

How do I pay for my group?

Each individual guest can make their payment arrangements at the time of booking, with a Group Vacation Planner or online. Sometimes one passenger wishes to pay for multiple bookings. Our Group Vacation Planners can explain all the options based on your group’s needs.

Can we stay in different categories of stateroom?

Yes, your group can select from different types of staterooms and locations on the ship, based on availability. The earlier you plan, the more options your group may have available.

Can we have staterooms next to each other?

Your Group Vacation Planner can check for neighboring staterooms at the time your reservations are created.

What is my group’s discounted rate?

Princess groups receive a discount off Launch fares, and also allows group passengers to take advantage of the best available rate, provided the promotion is combinable with group rates. Your Group Vacation Specialist can help your group book the best rates that also combine with your group offer.

What if pre-cruise, a passenger in my group wants to change cabins or only one passenger in a cabin wants to switch rooms with another group member?

We can easily accommodate requests to change cabins within your group before the voyage sail date. Additionally, as long as one person remains in the cabin that was originally booked we can change the additional passenger(s).

Can we arrange meetings or cocktail parties?

We’d love to help you customize your group’s onboard experience with a special event! Princess offers a number of for your event including beverages, hors d’oeuvres, theme beverage and hors d’oeuvres packages, pre-arranged delivery of group items brought onboard by the group, group wine tasting, a variety of audio and visual equipment needed for anything from a presentation to Karaoke party, and even photography and videography packages to capture the memories.

Can everyone in my group dine together?

Your group can dine together every night, some nights or a combination that’s just right for you.

Anytime Dining offers the most flexible dining experience – just like a restaurant would – and gives your group the freedom to dine with whomever you wish, at your convenience between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. in elegant, upscale venues. Perfect for small groups or couples who may want to dine together in the main dining room some nights, enjoy a Specialty Restaurant together, and maybe a night or two away from the group at their own tables for two.

Traditional Dining is the classic cruise dining experience that allows your group to dine together every night, at the same time. This option is great for groups who may wish to go their own ways during the day, and catch up over diner each night. Requests for preferred dining times and changes are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage your group to select your preferred dining time early.

Can I book flight arrangements, hotels, transfers for my group?

Yes, we can assist each cabin with airfare, hotels and roundtrip transportation to/from the airport to the ship. We can make arrangements for the entire group or customize arrangements for individuals, cabins or just part of the group.

Can we arrange shore excursions for our group?

Each individual guest may select their shore excursions preference via our Cruise personalizer at www.princess.com, or your Group Vacation Specialist can assist you in planning a customized excursion for your group. Your group can arrange to take shore excursions together or we can handle requests for individuals, cabins or just part of the group.
